Goole Wedding Singer & DJ

Good Morning All,

We had a lovely weekend at Carlton Towers this weekend for Rebecca & Andrews Wedding.

We've had the pleasure at performing at quite a few weddings at Carlton Towers now and it is always a pleasure to go back, it is a fabulous venue and can be hired exclusively.

Rebecca & Andrew booked us over two years ago so it was great to finally see all their plans come together on their big day.

They booked our Platinum Package for their big day and chose some brilliant songs.

Wonderful Tonight (Eric Clapton version) was their first dance performed live by Yorkshire Wedding Singer Lee Jon. Rebecca also chose Bridge over troubled water (Simon & Garfunkel version) for the dance with her dad, Wedding Singer Lee Jon learnt this song to perform live for Rebecca as it was a new one for our live collection. A special touch for the night was a surprise request from Rebecca's mum a few weeks ago, who called up and asked if Lee could sing them a song dedicated to Rebecca, in Rebecca's mum's words the song from the NSPCC advert on the TV, Ill stand by you by the Pretenders, which was absolutely no problem to do for Goole wedding singer Lee Jon.

A few days before the wedding I received an e-mail from Rebecca to ask if Lee could perform another special song for her auntie who's 60th birthday was on the day of the wedding, she requested Lee sing her You raise me up by Westlife, Lee performed the song for Rebecca's auntie at the end of his 1st set of the night and Rebecca's auntie was in floods of 'happy' tears.

The night carried on with disco requests made by Rebecca mixed in with a selection of our chosen disco songs, Lee Jon performed 2 x 45 minute sets for Rebecca & Andrew, the second set was a collection of 60's, 80's and current days songs which went down a treat.

As Yorkshire Wedding Entertainers we are quite used to requests and changes to any wedding day and are extremely flexible to requests and ideas that you may have.

We wish Rebecca & Andrew a lifetime of happiness xx

We performed at Carlton Towers for Jonny Howson's wedding (who plays for premier league football team Norwich City)  back in June which was also another fabulous wedding, their big day is written about in one of our other posts.

Wedding Singer & DJ in Manchester

We had the pleasure of performing for Sara & Mick's big day at Great John Street Hotel in Manchester back in January 2013.

Despite the horrendous bad weather everything went perfectly, we arrived in plenty of time. Sara & Mick had previously married abroad and held a wedding party for their family and friend in the UK . They booked our Platinum Package for the party and Wedding Singer Lee Jon performed a varied selection of songs Sara & Mick had chosen with Wedding DJ Hollie playing until late.

Sara & Mick chose for Manchester Wedding Singer Lee Jon some Rat Pack and Swing Classics to start then drifting into some Rock, Pop and good old party classics to get the whole family up and dancing.

We used our Bose L1 v2 system for the whole of the evening reception, it fitted in perfectly with the cool surroundings and decor of the hotel.

We used a minimal lighting selection for the party as the room did not require big and bulky equipment.

We knew we had provided a good service as two of their wedding guests called us the next day to book Lancashire Wedding Singer Lee Jon and DJ Hollie for their future wedding receptions, RESULT!!

Mick left us a lovely review Hi Hollie, I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and Lee for helping us make our night very special – you were both great and we hope you got home safe in the snow! We will keep your details on file and will have no hesitation recommending you to friends in future. Thanks again Mick

We wish Sara and  Mick all the happiness for their future together!!

Wedding Singer in Warwickshire

We had the pleasure of entertaining Sam & Andy for their big day at Ansty Hall in Coventry Warwickshire in April.

We had worked at Ansty Hall a number of times previously so we knew our way around.

Sam & Andy had booked our Diamond Package and had chosen for Lee Jon to perform some love songs at their wedding breakfast.

Lee Jon performed a collection of love songs that Sam and Andy had chosen, the songs were a perfect addition to the afternoon wedding breakfast and wedding breakfast singer Lee Jon created a fitting atmosphere. Lee Jon also acted as Sam & Andy's Master of ceremonies and announced the three speeches. We used our Bose L1 V2 system for the wedding breakfast the surround sound output is much easier on the ear for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts than typical loud speaker systems.

After the wedding breakfast the wedding party retired to freshen up for the evening reception which was being held in the Orangery, we had already set up a separate DJ booth and Live system for the evening in the Orangery so there was no dashing around moving one system into another room.

Sam & Andy had the projected Monogramme on their dance floor which soon became a talking point with all their guests, they had chosen to have their first names and wedding date.

Warwickshire wedding singer Lee Jon performed their first dance and followed with a 45 min set of love songs and up beat tracks that Sam & Andy had chosen and requested. Wedding Singer Lee Jon also performed Sam and her fathers dance. Wedding DJ Hollie carried on the night with a selection of up beat party classics and songs from all ages to add variety for all the guests young and old. Coventry Wedding Singer Lee Jon performed another 45 min set later on in the evening with a selection of rock, pop and modern days classics all chosen by Sam & Andy from Lee Jon's extensive track list. All the wedding guests had a good old dance and threw some good shapes on the dance floor. We finished the night on a high with a live song performed by wedding singer Lee Jon for Sam & Andy's last dance.

Sam & Andy sent us a lovely text the next day: Hi both, Everything was fantastic. Everyone commented on how great lee jon was , and how they enjoyed the disco. It is us that should be thanking you. Kind regards andy and Sam x x

A lovely confirmation of a job well done.

We wish Sam & Andy a wonderful future together!!
