North Yorkshire Wedding Singer - Emma & Tom

A wonderful Christmas Wedding....

We first heard from Emma and Tom in January 2012.

They booked our Diamond Package for their Christmas Wedding.

We started the day in the early afternoon on a crisp wintry morning, Emma & Tom were married at 2pm at the beautiful Aldwark Manor near York.

Emma and Tom had asked Lee to learn some new songs for their big day, these were:

Jack Johnson - Do you remember (this was to be there first dance)
The Killers - Mr Brightside
Bruno Mars - Marry You

We arrived to set up straight after their ceremony had taken place, and the Wedding Breakfast begun at 4.00pm. Emma & Tom's Wedding Breakfast begun with their speeches with Lee Jon acting as Master of Ceremonies. Throughout their Wedding Breakfast we played a fitting selection of background music to fill the room whilst the guests were enjoying their food and chatting.

Swiftly flowing into the evening reception which began at 7.30 after the staff at Aldwark Manor had turned the room around.

At 8pm Emma and Tom were invited by Lee to cut there cake followed by their First Dance performed live by Lee, it was extra special to Emma & Tom to have Jack Johnson's - Do you remember as their first dance and Lee had no hesitation in learning it for them. The first dance was followed by a 45 minute live set from Lee Jon of songs that Emma & Tom had chosen from Lee's extensive list of live tracks available. Emma & Tom's first dance was captured forever by the fantastic Ian Wallace who supplied some amazing images of the day.

They chose a varied mixture of everything to cater for all their guests, they chose a mixture of Rat Pack and Swing music for the first set of the night with songs such as Feeling Good - Michael Buble, Fly me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra and It had to be you - Harry Connick Jnr among many others.

The dance floor was never empty and all the guests had a turn to get up and dance, the next two live sets from Lee were again chosen completely by Emma & Tom and had a very varied mix of music from Jon Bon Jovi to Roy Orbison. With songs such as Sex on Fire - Kings of Leon, I don't want to miss a thing - Aerosmith, All these things that I have done - The Killers, Everybody - Blues Brothers, and The one and Only - Chesney Hawkes. There was some fantastic dancing from all the guests especially from Tom's groomsmen when they asked us to play Gangnam Style for them, I think that is a memory from the day no one will forget!

The evening finished on a high with a track chosen by Emma & Tom - Foo Fighters - Everlong....

We wish Emma & Tom a wonderful future together and wish them the best of luck and love for wherever there newly married life will take them xx
