We started a lovely fresh June morning by setting off for The Carlton Bore in Carlton Husthwaite for Nick and Christine's wedding blessing.
We had previously met Christine when we performed for Debenhams in Meadowhall in February, she came with her lovely friend to see us.
We arrived at The Carlton Bore and was met by Greg the manager who I must say was fantastic, he was so helpful.
We set up half our equipment in the Carlton Bore and then we proceeded to the small church just down the road from the Carlton Bore to set up our equipment for the ceremony.
Lee was performing a version of Songbird by Fleetwood Mac for Christine and Nicks entrance into the church.
We had an hour of rehearsal time before hand which I recorded on my Blackberry and uploaded to our You Tube page.
Christine's youngest son met us at the church and was a real star he was absolutely lovely and so organised.
Christine and Nick arrived at 3pm and walked down the aisle to Lee performing Songbird, Christine was in floods of tears. Lee received a fantastic applause from the guests and Christine and Nick then proceeded to perform their vows. In the middle of the ceremony Lee also performed a version of Someone like you by Van Morrison which again received a fantastic applause. Both songs were chosen by Christine and Nick, Lee learnt both songs from scratch for them.
When the ceremony finished Christine and Nick went outside to have their photographs taken with their family and friends, while we packed the equipment away and went back to the Carlton Bore.
Christine and Nick had chosen a fantastic collection of songs to be played throughout their wedding Breakfast, which was a brilliant mixture of Soft Rock, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen to name a few. The food was absolutely fantastic and a real credit to The Carlton Bore.
Lee then acted as master of ceremonies for them and Christine's son gave a wonderful speech.
The whole Wedding Breakfast was so easy going and laid back it was a brilliant atmosphere and just what Christine and Nick had strived to achieve.
The evening entertainment commenced with Lee performing their first dance Andy Williams - Can't take my eyes off you, followed by a great selection of Bruce Springsteen (one of Nicks favourite artists) amongst many other artists.
Christine and Nick wanted a set selection of songs to be played for the Disco, which were a collection of songs that they loved and meant something to them.
It was a fabulous day and night, and a great pleasure to meet such lovely people.
We wish Christine & Nick all the luck and happiness in the world as they continue their lives together.

Kent Wedding Singer - Christine & Martin
We started this lovely sunny June day by setting off from Sheffield at 9 am on route to The Ashford International hotel in Kent.
After some extremely heavy traffic and major delays on the notorious M25! We arrived still in good time for the Wedding Breakfast entertainment.
We set up our equipment on the large stage in the room, and Christine & Martin came into the room at 3pm with all their family and friends. It was quite a large wedding with approx 200 guests.
I started the afternoon playing a collection of love songs chosen by Christine and Martin.
The speeches were performed almost immediately with Lee acting as master of ceremonies, introducing all the speeches and helping the nervous speakers with their speeches!
After the speeches Lee performed a 45 minute set of songs chosen by Christine and Martin including some great tracks such as: Everything I do I do it for you - Bryan Adams, Can you feel the love tonight - Elton John, Don't want to miss a thing - Aerosmith. He received some raucous applause for his performance throughout the Wedding Breakfast which was brilliant! I then followed with background music chosen by Christine and Martin for the rest of the meal.
The guests retired after the meal and the fantastic staff at the hotel changed the room around ready for the evening reception.
We started playing music again around 6.30 pm.
Christine and Martin performed their first dance at 8pm which was an acoustic version of Bruno Mars' Just the Way you are. I had to re-master the backing track for Lee to perform this song which was a track of simply piano and guitar, requested by Christine. It worked perfectly and the song was completely unique to them.
Christine and Martin also had our Low Fog machine as an extra for their first dance along with our Projected monogramme of their names and wedding date onto the dance floor which created some fantastic photo's.
After the first dance Lee continued with his first set of songs again chosen by Christine and Martin, for the second live song of the night they had our bubble machine as an extra to create a brilliant atmosphere. Our bubble machine is an industrial one so it creates a massive spray of bubbles which was so effective on their photo's.
The night went brilliantly with Lee performing some brilliant live cover versions of Sex on Fire - Kings of Leon, Human - The Killers mixed with some old classics like I am the one and only - Chesney Hawkes and Everybody - The Blues Brothers. We provided the entertainment with a mixture of live vocals form Lee and Disco and light show from me until 1am.
I think we arrived back home at around 7am the following morning after a very long drive.
We had a brilliant time performing for Christine and Martin and we hope they will be eternally happy together!

We started the day at 7am, setting off for Alsager in Cheshire for Jane & Chris's wedding.
We arrived at The Best Western Manor House Hotel at 9am and was met by Chris who wasnt the slightest bit nervous.
We set up half of our equiptment in the Wedding Breakfast suite ready for the Wedding Breakfast entertainment and the Evening entertainment. We then went onto the beautiful St Marys Church just down the road in Alsager and set our equiptment up in the church ready for the ceremony.
Lee was performing Amazing Grace A Capella, he would be performing the first three verses of the hymn and then a highland piper was finishing the hymn.
Jane entered the church looking lovely and slightly emotional and walked down the aisle.
Once everyone was in the church and Jane and Chris were at the alter Lee came from behind the first alter in the church singing Amazing Grace it was fantastic, Jane cried throughout the whole song, after his three verses the highland piper started playing and walked down the aisle to finish the song (What an impact!)
Jane and Chris performed there vows and once a newly married couple Lee then performed a version of Barbara Streisand's Evergreen as they signed the register.
Jane and Chris and family & friends then went to have photographs taken as a newly married couple, while we packed the equiptment away and went back to The Manor House.
Throughout their Wedding Breakfast Lee acted as master of Ceromonies, announcing them into the room and announcing the speeches which were brilliant Lee performed a 45 minute live set of love ballads chosen by Jane and Chris, one of which (Westlife's - You Raise me up) had Jane in floods of tears. I then followed Lees set with a collection of love songs for the rest of their Wedding Breakfast. After the meal the guests retired to get freshened up.
Lee then changed into another suit for the evening entertainment, and we started the disco and lightshow at 7pm, Jane and Chris performed their first dance at 8pm performed live by Lee. Lee then carried on the night by performing three sets of 30 minutes of rock, pop, swing and classic party tunes with me filling in with the disco until 1am.
It was a fantastic day with different types of entertainment provided by us.
We wish Jane & Chris all the luck and happiness in the world!
